Münster (August 2026) – COMPO announces a change in management. Stephan Engster has stepped down from his role as CEO and Managing Director and has left the company.  

COMPO would like to thank Stephan Engster for his dedication and his contribution to the company's development over the past ten years.

COMPO will in future be represented by its managing directors, Stefanie Bielevelt, General Counsel, and Andreas Rutsch, Chief Financial Officer. Rutsch will act as Executive Lead, coordinating the work of COMPO‘s Executive Leadership Team until further notice.

In Andreas Rutsch, COMPO has gained an experienced CFO and Managing Director who has nearly 30 years of international management experience and has successfully guided companies through phases of growth and change, positioning them for the future.

The company’s strategic direction remains unchanged. For customers, trading partners and suppliers, there will be no changes to existing points of contact or areas of responsibility.
