Responsibility for Compliance

For COMPO, “compliance” means consistently adhering to legal requirements, internal standards and binding ethical principles across all areas of business, and translating these into responsible conduct. As a leading supplier of high-quality products in the categories of potting compost, fertiliser, grass seed, plant protection and biocides, we bear a special responsibility towards our customers, our employees, business partners, authorities and the environment. Particularly in a sensitive and highly regulated environment, we are committed to making decisions that are transparent, legally sound and accountable. Compliance is therefore not only our responsibility but also in our own best interests: it protects our company, strengthens our reputation and lays the foundation for long-term economic success.

Code of Conduct

The Group-wide Code of Conduct provides a binding framework for legally and ethically responsible conduct throughout the COMPO Group. It sets out the fundamental standards of conduct for management, executives, employees and all persons acting on behalf of the company.

At the same time, it provides guidance on conduct within the company as well as in relations with business partners, public authorities and other stakeholders. In this way, the Code of Conduct establishes a shared understanding of values, expectations and responsibilities and reflects the principles that are fundamental to COMPO.
